The E-learning Award at the University of Zagreb was established in 2009 and is defined with the Rules on E-learning Award adopted by the University Senate. The E-learning Award is one of the activities within the E-learning Strategy of the University of Zagreb.
The aim of this award is to enhance education quality improvement by e-learning technologies, to foster excellence in education and to promote good practice of the use of ICT in education.
The right to apply to the competition is reserved for the teachers of the University of Zagreb whose courses are listed in the Course Schedule for the ongoing Academic Year.
The criteria for the E-learning Awards are:
- use of ICT
- implementation of instructional design elements
- quality of teaching materials
- improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning
- multimedia
- interactivity
- applicability
There are the first, second and the third award, and four additional awards.
Each award consists of a charter and a monetary prize.
