On Sunday, 16 June 2019 at the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN), Sandra Kučina Softić, Assistant Director of Education and Support, was elected the 10th President of this prestigious European organization in the area of distance learning and e-learning that will soon mark 30 years of work.
Sandra Kučina Softić has been a member of the EDEN Executive Board since 2013, and in 2016 she was elected Vice-President of the organizaton for matters concerning open professional cooperation.
EDEN (www.eden-online.org) is a non-profit organization that now gathers over 180 institutions, organizations and networks and more than 1,000 independent members from 58 countries of the world. EDEN members come from different areas of education and training with the aim of cooperating and sharing knowledge, gaining the best understanding in the field of remote teaching and e-learning and professional development. The University Computing Center - SRCE is an active member of the EDEN network.
