At the end of 2015, after 23 years, SRCE has ceased being the publisher of CIT, Journal of Computing and Information Technology. Publishing of CIT has been taken over without interruption from January 1, 2016, by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER). Data below is taken from the Editorial of the last issue of CIT published by SRCE, and was written by its Editor-in-Chief, Professor Vlado Glavinić. "It all began in 1992, when professors Leo Budin, Vlatko Čerić, Slobodan Ribarić and Dean Rosenzweig of the University of Zagreb initiated the launch of a new international scientific journal in the field of computing and information technology (in English), which was supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Informatics of the Republic of Croatia. Soon they were joined by professors Branko Jeren, Slavko Krajcar as the Journal’s director and Vlado Glavinić as the Book Reviews Editor. Since each issue, in addition to the papers in English, was set to include the papers in Croatian in the second part (which was later discontinued), its editors became professors Damir Boras, Hrvoje Gold, Ivan Rusan and Mladen Varga. SRCE was chosen as the publisher of the new journal. In the previous period, in which Editors-in-Chief were, beside Professor Leo Budin, also Professors Vlatko Čerić, Sven Lončarić and Vlado Glavinić, over 1,800 submissions have been processed (without editorials), among which more than 80% from abroad. SRCE has published, with the financial support of the MSES, 93 issues with around 660 papers. Along with the print edition, in 2002 was introduced the online edition of the journal with open access." On this occasion SRCE as a publisher would like to thank all the editors and members of the editorial board, authors, reviewers and readers of CIT for their effort, knowledge and support, and also wishes to thank copy-editor Mirna Petani, Element who worked on the graphic processing, and printers Birotisak, Gipa and AKD for the technical support received through the years.
