The Copernicus Hackathon competition will be held in SRCE on October 23rd and 24th, 2019. as part of the Copernicus program organized by the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb.
The hackathon will be held in two categories: professional, intended for industry professionals, scientists, researchers, innovators and students, and a high school student-centric, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education.
Within Hackathon, three thematic areas are envisaged: smart cities and smart government, environmental and climate protection, and the application of EO in industry, agriculture and forestry. The best applications, in each of the categories (official and secondary), created on the ArcGIS platform will be awarded an ArcGIS professional license for a period of 12 months for each team member.
The Hackathon itself will be organized at SRCE according to a program published on the website. The competition will run for two days, October 23rd and 24th, while the prize distribution will be organized as part of the Copernicus Conference on October 25th, also in SRCE.
