Fifth webinar out of the series of webinars called "Talks on E-assessment and Learning Outcomes" on the topic of learning outcomes (LO) and assessment methods in e-learning was held on June 15th. The webinar's title was „Composing assessment for the multimodal classroom“. Lecturer was James Lamb, Assistant Director of Lothians Equal Access Programme for Schools (LEAPS). He was presented that the increasingly digital nature of teaching and learning in higher education calls us for to fully consider the possibilities of multimodal assessment and feedback. He was began with a short presentation where he was contextualised the subject though reference to multimodal literature (particularly drawing on the work of Carey Jewitt and Gunther Kress) before posing questions for discussion. In the presentation Lumb was concluded the session by briefly describing two examples of multimodal assessment and feedback in practice. The recording of the webinar is available.
