Open Consultation on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda launched

6. 8. 2020.

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Executive Board has launched the Open Consultation on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The SRIA provides general guidelines to help develop the work programmes for EOSC in the new Horizon Europe programme. The deadline for taking part in the consultation and contributing to the future of EOSC is until 31 August 2020.

All organizations that have expressed an interest in EOSC (research infrastructures, universities, researchers, industries, national and international initiatives, policy makers, scientists and other interested stakeholders) are invited to participate in the consultation. It is conducted through an online questionnaire in which participants can give an opinion on topics such as guiding principles, areas of action and EOSC priorities. This also applies to rewarding the practices and skills of open science; standards, tools and services for searching, accessing and reusing results; and a common and joint infrastructure that allows for the open sharing of scientific results.

Before completing the questionnaire, participants are advised to study the SRIA consultation document, which provides a general framework as well as key information on the consultation process. More information on SRIA has been provided through a webinar titled "Open consultation for EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda" held on July 28, 2020. The webinar presented the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and its funding priorities in the Horizon Europe programme and gave an overview of the SRIA consultation document.
