On May 22 SRCE marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Information system of higher education institutions (ISVU) into production.
ISVU is the basis of the digitalization processes in higher education and its institutions because it includes administrative processes that accompany the teaching and course of study and allows the integration of information systems of different institutions within a university. It also allows students and teachers to perform a significant portion of administrative work more easily and quickly, from remote locations, without waiting or the need for personal contact at a higher education institution.
The system itself consists of several modules that support the standard activities of each higher education institution.
It is financed by the Ministry of Science and Education, and SRCE is in charge and takes care of the smooth operation and development of the system and provides professional technical support and conducts user training and education.
The largest group of users are students - almost 140,000 of them. Currently, the system is used at 111 Croatian higher education institutions and it has about 26,000 teachers and staff, of which about 14,000 also use some of the modules of the system.
