SRCE participated in the CRIS2022 conference

The CRIS2022 International Conference was held in Dubrovnik from 12 to 14 May. It is the fifteenth edition in a series of biennial conferences dedicated to improving the accessibility and access to research information systems across Europe.

The main topic of the conference was "Linking research information among data spaces", and emphasizing the increasing implementation of CRIS (current research information system) to ensure the most effective mechanisms for the exchange of research information and their aggregation.

During the first day of the conference, the Assistant Director of SRCE, Ognjen Orel, Ph. D. gave a presentation on "Croatian National CRIS - Advances and Challenges" in which he presented the project of developing the national information system of science CroRIS as a central place that provides comprehensive, complete and reliable information on all the elements of the science system in Croatia. the challenges encountered in its construction and ways to address them.

During the last day of the conference, on May 14th, the director of SRCE, Ivan Marić gave an invited lecture on "National research e-infrastructure landscape and trends" in which he presented the importance and role of SRCE as a central e-infrastructure institution that builds and maintains modern e-infrastructure for Croatian academic and research community, with special emphasis on the initiative to establish the Croatian Cloud for Open Science (HR-OOZ) and the role and connection of the CRIS system, in this case CroRIS, with HR-OOZ.
