University Computing Centre SRCE signed The Hague Declaration on Knowledge Discovery in the Digital Age on May 20, 2015. The Hague Declaration was written in Hague in December 2014 by 25 global experts – researchers, publishers, lawyers and lecturers. The Declaration supports the idea of text and content mining in all formats, which enables access to undiscovered knowledge. According to the Declaration, researchers should have the freedom to pursue intellectual curiosity without fear of monitoring and repercussions.
