In the EOSC Future project SRCE participates as a Linked Third Party of the EGI Foundation, one of the 36 partners in the project. Within the project, SRCE will continue the development of the federation service ARGO.
SRCE participates as a partner in the project EGI Advanced Computing for EOSC (EGI-ACE) which began on January 1, 2021.
At the first official General Assembly of EOSC Association on December 17, 2020, SRCE was accepted as a full member and as a mandate organization of the Republic of Croatia appointed by the Ministry of Science and Education.
In mid-September, the document, „EOSC - a tool for enabling Open Science in Europe“ was published. It highlighted the necessity to re-orient EOSC activities towards the needs of user communities and gave a clear position on the value of EOSC.
The European Open Science Cloud is a virtual environment that provides researchers with open access to data and services for managing, processing and using research data. The EOSC portal is the access point through which researchers access EOSC services.
This year's Conference SRCE DEI 2019 will take place in Zagreb on 1 and 2 April 2019, as part of the national strategic project Croatian Science and Education Cloud (HR-ZOO) co-financed by the European Union funds.
