The European Commission has entered into a partnership with the EOSC Association, marking an important milestone in the realization of open science in Europe. Srce, as a member of the EOSC Association, actively participates in the implementation of the EC's open science policy.

The EuroCC project, within which the Croatian National Competence Center for High Performance Computing will be established, began on September 1, 2020. SRCE is leading a consortium of Croatian institutions participating in the project.

At the invitation of the coordinator, the European University Foundation, SRCE joined the MyAcademicID project and took over activities related to connecting the system of academic electronic identities with the eIDAS and eduGAIN systems.

On December 7, 2017, JASPERS issued the Action Completion Note for the project HR-ZOO, thus completing the multi-annual process of preparation of the Feasibility Study and the Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA).

A two-day international workshop Supporting educators for innovative, open and digital education will be held in University computing centre SRCE on 7th and 8th December 2017.

On October 27, 2017, the European Commission presented the final Work Programme for Horizon 2020, covering the investment period 2018-2020 and representing an investment of around €30 billion.
