STUART MEALOR
Topic: The Moodle Course Creator Certificate (MCCC) - The official Certification for Teachers using Moodle
Bio:
Moodle Certification Manager since 2007.
Facilitator: Business Uses course on moodle.org
Facilitator: Certification course on moodle.org
Managing Director of Human Resource Development International - Moodle Partner in New Zealand (www.hrdnz.com).
I meet many Moodlers from all around the world in our famous MoodleBites (www.moodlebites.com) for Teachers, Course Designers, Theme Designers, Administrators and MySQL for Moodle courses. I've been to more than 20 Moodle Moots around the world - talking about Moodle in Business, MCCC, Moodle and social-networking, and the www.freemoodle.org site.
Pretty much my whole career has been in IT training and development (although I started life as a graphic designer). I also have an MBA in International Business, and a degree in Professional Development - which is why I spend a lot of time in the Moodle for Business Uses area.
I've used FirstClass, WebCT, Blackboard, Sakai, and Moodle, and specialised in setting up training centres around the world (UK, Europe, and New Zealand), and consultancy in e-learning. I like SCORM(!), eXe, MyUdutu etc.
I'm a 'part-time' geek - I use Libre Office (no MS Office here!), Camtasia, Flash, HTML, CSS, PHP, XML etc. I love Ubuntu, and also my Apple MacBook Pro, Air, iPad and iPhone. When I have free time(!?) I do some voluntary work for the Business Mentors New Zealand scheme helping young businesses grow.
