SRCE hosted the first partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project Strengthening Teacher Training with AI through Remote-learning Spaces (STTAIRS) on 3 and 4 December 2025. The project started on 1 September 2025, will last three years, and is coordinated by Centro Autonómico de Formación e Innovación (Spain). In addition to SRCE, the project partners are Universitat Ramon Llull Fundació (Spain), Agrupamento de Escolas de Cister (Portugal), EUN Partnership AISBL (Belgium) and Özel Anabilim Ortaokulu (Türkiye).
The aim of the project is to develop educational programmes and systems for teacher training in the field of artificial intelligence, with a focus on increasing teacher satisfaction and well-being, improving their professional development (pedagogical and digital), and promoting inclusion and sustainability. Through the development of specialised manuals, educational programmes and courses focused on the integration of artificial intelligence to enhance teachers’ competences, the project will ensure sustainability, accessibility and pedagogical alignment, while contributing to a more flexible, inclusive and sustainable digital education ecosystem.
Within the project, SRCE leads the technical development and implementation of the e-learning system with integrated artificial intelligence tools, ensuring its multilingual availability, adaptable learning functionalities, and support for personalised learning and digital well-being.
