SRCE at the 20th IDCC Conference

6. 3. 2026.

At the 20th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC), SRCE is participating in the programme and also acting as a local partner.

The International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) is an established annual event with a unique place in the community dedicated to discovering, organizing, analysing and sharing the best and most relevant information on specific topics from a variety of sources. The conference brings together individuals, organizations and institutions from all disciplines and fields involved in digital data curation and provides an opportunity for data professionals to meet and discuss policies and practices.

On the first day of the conference, Ivan Marić, Director of SRCE, welcomed the participants and emphasized that, as a local partner, SRCE is proud to support an event closely aligned with its mission: empowering the research community through reliable e-infrastructure, expertise and a strong commitment to open science.

SRCE is also participating in the programme with a poster presentation titled “Addressing the Seven Sins of Open Science with SRCE's Services.” The poster was presented by SRCE experts Dejana Carić, Ljiljana Jertec Musap and Draženko Celjak.

The poster introduces a set of SRCE services that support open science: Dabar, Hrčak, Puh, Advanced Computing, CroRIS, and the SRCE Academy.

These services help researchers more easily overcome challenges related to the implementation of FAIR principles and open science practices.
