SRCE participated in the kick-off meeting of the Idealist2027 project and the accompanying training for National Contact Points (NCPs) in the digitalisation area of the Horizon Europe programme, held on 22 and 23 October 2025 in Lisbon.
The kick-off meeting brought together partners of the Idealist2027 consortium – Transnational NCP Project for Digital Innovation and Support – representatives of the European Commission (DG CONNECT), the HaDEA Executive Agency, and National Contact Points from across Europe. The event focused on establishing joint work plans, exchanging experiences, and agreeing on key activities for the upcoming period.
The Idealist2027 project aims to strengthen the network of National Contact Points in the digitalisation area of the Horizon Europe programme by providing them with tools, knowledge, and skills needed to offer higher-quality support to researchers and innovators applying for Horizon Europe funding.
Through transnational cooperation and connections with other initiatives in the field of digitalisation, the project will:
- facilitate access to the Horizon Europe programme for new participants, particularly SMEs and organisations from widening countries,
- enhance the capacities of NCPs through new tools and analytical services,
- promote cooperation and knowledge sharing among European digital communities.
The project has a duration of 36 months (1 September 2025 – 31 August 2028), brings together 32 partners, and is coordinated by the National Technological Innovation Authority of Israel. The total project budget amounts to EUR 2.5 million.
SRCE’s representative in the project is Vlatko Grabovica, who, as a National Contact Point, contributes to Idealist2027 network activities aimed at strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of good practices among NCPs in the digitalisation area of the Horizon Europe programme. More information on the Horizon Europe programme is available on the national Horizon Europe portal, and further details about the Idealist2027 project can be found on the project’s website.
