About SRCE's educational programmes
The first courses organized by SRCE were held in 1972. SRCE's educational programmes include instructor-led courses, self-paced courses, workshops and webinars. These are organized to provide high-quality and diverse education in the fields of digital literacy, computer, internet and AI use, basic and advanced applications, and IT tools. It systematically drives the development of digital competences across the academic community.
Categories of SRCE's educational programmes include:
- basics of computer and internet use
- web technologies, website and web page development
- programming, databases, statistical and graphical data analysis
- graphic and multimedia tools
- platforms, tools, and best practices in the research lifecycle
- Linux
- implementation of e-learning in the educational process
- implementation of artificial intelligence tools in the educational process.
Each course is aligned with a digital competence. Areas and levels of digital competences are defined based on European Framework for Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu) and European Framework for Digital Competence for Citizens (DigComp).
All of the programmes are primarily conducted in Croatian. The interactive learning platforms and open educational resources are widely used by the community.
