The Digital Curation Centre (DCC) at the University of Edinburgh is an internationally recognized authority in digital curation and preservation. It supports institutions and individuals with expert guidance, training, and resources on effective and responsible research data management, preservation, and sharing.
At the EUNIS 2025 Annual Congress, SRCE was awarded the prestigious EUNIS Elite Award 2025 in the Lasting Achievement category, in recognition of its excellence in implementing national information systems for higher education. The award was granted based on the professional paper titled:
“The Evolution of ISVU: 20+ Years of the National Student Management System in Croatia”.
At the EGI 2025 Conference, held from 2–6 June 2025 in Santander, Spain, experts from SRCE presented their work on the integration of OpenStack, deployed using the Kolla project, into the EGI Federated Cloud Platform (FedCloud)—a unified environment that combines geographically distributed cloud sites into a single platform accessible to users across Europe.
Once again this year, SRCE participated as a partner in the Days of Open Computer Systems and Croatian Linux Users' Conference (DORS/CLUC), where it also gave a presentation about the OpenCode.HR project.
