This year’s conference has concluded. Over the course of two days, 28 and 29 April 2026, more than 500 participants from the higher education and research community, public administration, industry and international institutions took part in the conference. The programme included more than forty presentations organised into eight thematic sessions, 13 workshops, 11 poster presentations and two invited lectures.
SRCE celebrated its 55th anniversary with a ceremonial event held as part of the SRCE DEI 2026 Conference, taking place on 28 and 29 April at the University of Zagreb building. Founded on 29 April 1971 within the University of Zagreb, SRCE has continuously responded to the growing needs of the community by enabling knowledge exchange, connecting people, and systematically building the national shared e-infrastructure that supports the development of the academic and research community as well as society as a whole.

SRCE participated on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the 6th UNIZG IT MeetUp, focused on the topic “Digital Security”. The event addressed online scams with an emphasis on students as potential victims of fraud.
On Monday, 9 March 2026, the webinar “Libraries in the Digital Transformation of Education – Role and Examples of Practice” was held. The event was dedicated to the role of libraries in the digital transformation of higher education and their support for modern teaching and learning models.
The meeting of delegations from Erasmus University Rotterdam and SRCE was held on 4 and 5 March 2026 at SRCE.
The meeting was organised as part of the second phase of the UNIC project, focusing on the integration of local student information systems with the UNIC Virtual Campus, which SRCE develops and maintains.
The first session of the 6th convocation of the Hrčak Council was held at SRCE on March 4, 2026, appropriately marking 20 years of successful operation of the Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Journals – Hrčak.
